About Gary
From California to Hawaii, Turks and Caicos to Cape Cod, and throughout Maine, Nova Scotia, and beyond, Gary Lamb has performed alongside a diverse array of talented musicians from around the world. With a lifetime of experience behind the drums and percussion, Gary brings his own distinctive style of “beachgrass” music—a unique blend of vintage pop, Hawaiian, rock, reggae, classic country, and what he affectionately calls “Lobster Funk.”
Gary’s extensive repertoire of cover songs spans generations, with something to please audiences from 8 to 88. His performances often have crowds singing along to familiar songs and reminiscing about music they love both decades ago and current classics. He has performed in seven countries and toured extensively throughout Korea, Japan, and both the western and eastern United States.
Today, Gary divides his time between the beautiful coastal communities of Downeast Maine and the Bay of Fundy shore of Nova Scotia, where he continues to tour, write, and perform.
